Although I teach lighting workshops to small groups of students, I'm sometimes asked to hold private lessons for special requests or scheduling conflicts. If there is something that you, or you and one some friends, want to learn, just let me know. Additional students are only $100 after the initial $200 course fee. It's a great way to collaborate with your peers!

Requirements: None. The time is yours. I'll teach you whatever you want: shooting techniques, camera know-how, lighting methods, even Photoshop. For $200 you get three hours of personalized instruction to shorten that steep learning curve.

Your place or mine: Most private lessons are held in my studio but I can come to yours. Drive time not included.

Hardware: Bring your own or use my lighting by Elinchrom, Speedotron, Alien Bees, Mole Richardson, Nikon and more… Support gear by Matthews, Bogen, Avenger, and others.

Software: I'll show you how to use yours or see my workflow and watch as images are imported, projected, and refined. I always have the latest version of Photoshop, Lightroom, The Bridge, Camera Raw and others. I’ll compare JPEG to RAW and compare their features.

I guarantee you'll learn a lot and be ready to deliver better images to your clients!
